Trip participants will get firsthand experience of the Institute’s impact in France and Switzerland for the sake of strengthening and growing Redeemer's ministry partnership. The trip includes two days of manual labor working alongside students in the dormitory, meeting faculty of the Institute, worshipping in a local church, visiting local ministry contexts, and two Exploration days in the Geneva area.
The Geneva Bible Institute (IBG) combines gospel-centered theological education with practical hands-on ministry opportunities to French speakers in partnership with local churches. IBG is particularly focused on training pastors to full pulpits in local churches in France and lay levelChristians to give an account for their faith in their workplaces.
Trip goal: For participants to get firsthand experience of the Institute’s impact, so we have a better understanding of its impact for the sake of fostering Redeemer partnership in future years. The trip includes two days of manual labor working alongside students in the dormitory, meeting faculty of the Institute, worshipping in a local church, visiting local ministry contexts, and two Exploration days in the Geneva area.

Preliminary Trip Components:
- Presentation of the ministry at IBG (Geneva Bible Institute).
- Two workdays with the students during their summer work projects.
- Day trip to Leone or Aix-les-Bains: urban context in France.
- Day trip to Chamonix: a more rural setting.
- Visit a church plant in Haute Savoie, neighboring France.
- Evening of prayer and testimonies with the students.
- Exploration Day in Geneva with “Calvin Tours.”
- Exploration Day to Matterhorn or Interlochen.
- Requirements: Redeemer Missional Partner, with specific need for one video/photographer, one person with construction background/experience, and others with leadership influence in our church.International travel experience is a plus but is not required to apply.
Cost to participate: Approx. $2000 for travel, lodging, and meal costs, plus money for meals and souvenirs on two Exploration days.
Lodging: Geneva Bible Institute dormitory—single and double bed rooms available.
Meals: Cost includes IBG-provided lunch and dinner most days during the trip.
