Training future leaders in the context of the local church
If you're preparing for a lifetime of ministry—whether through seminary, Bible college, or simply responding to a growing call—you don’t need to wait until you graduate to be trained. At Redeemer Church, we believe that the local church is God’s primary training ground for future leaders. Whether you're pursuing pastoral ministry, sensing a call to missions, or want to grow in leadership in a specific ministry, we’ve built a pathway for you. Through our structured Ministry Apprenticeship Program, you’ll gain theological formation, hands-on ministry experience, and intentional mentorship in a local church that treasures doctrinal clarity, spiritual maturity, and joyful service.
We encourage all applicants to read and ensure alignments with our Statement of Beliefs:
Three Distinct Tracks, One Unified Vision:

SUMMER INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONPASTORAL TRACK APPLICATION
Applications for the 2026 Redeemer Institute Summer Internship will be open from November 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026. Once an application is submitted, our staff will review it carefully. Qualified applicants will be invited to participate in an interview with a member of the pastoral team. Final decisions will be communicated by mid-March. While we maintain high expectations for spiritual maturity, character, and calling, we are flexible in working with academic internship requirements for those currently enrolled in undergraduate or seminary programs. If your school has specific internship criteria, we are happy to discuss how our program may align with those needs.
Host Families
Redeemer Church is looking for host families to house our summer interns during their 12-week ministry residency (late May–mid August). One of the most meaningful ways you can support future church leaders is by opening your home. Host families provide:
- A private bedroom and shared living space
- Basic meals or access to food
- A welcoming, Christ-centered environment
You don’t need to entertain or supervise interns—they’ll have full weekly schedules. But your hospitality will give them stability, encouragement, and a glimpse of faithful Christian living. This is a generous act of service and discipleship—an investment in future Gospel workers. If you’re interested in serving as a host family, we’d love to talk with you!
