A weekend conference with experiences geared towards men, women and families.
Please see the information below for each portion of the Grow Weekend. (Registration not required for Sunday Services).
Note: the Registration Form has all portions of the weekend in one form.
Friday Night: Men
Friday, October 21st | 6:00 - 8:00pm
Join us for a great men’s event where Pastor John will be speaking on Growing in Leadership. There will be food, activities, BBQ and a cooking competition. You must register for the Grow Weekend to participate/register for the cooking competition. (There's a link to sign up for the competition when registering for the event.)
Cooking Competition | 6:00 - 8:00pm
Men can sign up to enter the cooking competition in one of three categories: 1. Red Meat (beef or venison) 2. White Meat (pork, chicken or seafood) or 3. side dish (any side or dessert). Winners of each category will take home some great prizes.
*We will be catering a BBQ meal so the cook-off competitors aren’t expected to cook enough to feed everyone. Simply cook your best dish and have enough samples for the judges and the rest will be first come first served.
Saturday Morning: Women
Saturday, Oct 22nd | 8:45 - 11:00am
Ladies, join us for a time of worship and teaching as we unpack three of the most well-known spiritual disciplines taught by women from our own Redeemer family. You will have the option to pick from two of the three sessions so bring your Bible and journal.
Women 13 and older are welcome.
Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided.
(Childcare not available.)
Saturday Night: Dinner and Guest Speaker
Saturday, October 22nd | 5:00 - 8:00pm
Join us for dinner and a special guest speaker. Dr. Donald Whitney teaches at Southern seminary and has authored many books about growing spiritually through Scripture, prayer and song. His message will encourage families to grow together in the Lord. Message geared towards parents, those wishing to encourage parents and those who want to become parents someday - topic is on family worship. (Ages 18 and up recommended)
Childcare is available for infants through 7th grade. Childcare begins at 4:45 pm.
Sunday Morning: Guest Speaker
Special Speaker: Dr. Donald Whitney - he will be speaking on a topic from his book Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life.
